Steve Boucher has provided audit, assurance, tax and consulting services to family-owned businesses and individuals for more than 35 years. He also provides audit consulting services to governmental and not for profit entities in East Alabama. Boucher has completed the AICPA special certification program for governmental accounting and auditing and has also served as an instructor for professional development courses on those topics.
Boucher served as treasurer of the Auburn Alumni Association from 2004-2011. He is a past president of the Opelika Jaycees and the East Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and has served on the board of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) as well as on its Governmental and Peer Review committees. Boucher was a member of the Auburn University School of Accountancy Advisory Council for over 30 years and stays engaged with the School through his Emeritus status with the Council. He also served as a trustee of the Junior Miss Charitable Trust for the Lee County Jr. Miss program and coached youth baseball in Opelika for 13 years.
Boucher attends First United Methodist Church of Opelika where he served as Finance Committee Chairperson, on the Board of Trustees, and the Administrative Board. He is a graduate of Auburn University and holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the ASCPA.
