Jackson Thornton Healthcare, under the leadership of Patti Perdue, works with medical practices and long-term healthcare providers to help maximize revenue and plan for the future.
Since 1980, Perdue has worked with the healthcare industry. Today, Jackson Thornton Healthcare provides management advisory services to the industry in addition to traditional accounting, tax and audit services. These services include assisting physicians in managing their revenue through review of processes and procedures, MGMA Best Practice comparisons, compensation reviews, short-term billing and collection services, and coding reviews. Perdue also understands the needs of long-term healthcare facilities, helping them track and manage the cost of patient reimbursement on a day-to-day basis as well as cost reporting, budgeting and strategic planning.
She is a member of the Alabama Nursing Home Association and the Medical Group Management Association.
Perdue is Jackson Thornton’s resource for area law firms, providing accounting, tax and business advisory services including outsourced CFO services, review of procedures and controls and compensation methods.
Since 2001, Perdue has led Jackson Thornton Technologies LLC (JTT). JTT offers technology consulting, business software services, networking solutions and Internet resources.
Perdue is a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery and serves as a board member of Baptist Health. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the First Baptist Church Foundation. Perdue holds professional membership in the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and has completed certification for Certified Information Technology Professional through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
