James B. Marshall, III

For more than 10 years, Jim Marshall has provided financial forecasting, cost of service and rate design consulting projects for the firm’s utility clients. During that time, Marshall has worked with electric, gas, water and sewer utilities throughout the Southeast. Additionally, he’s assisted manufacturing and commercial companies across the country with tax issues and utility negotiations. Marshall is recognized by the Association of Energy Engineers as a Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP).

Marshall is currently serving on the American Water Works Association’s (AWWA) Rates and Charges Committee and is also a member of the Utility Finance Management Committee for the Kentucky/Tennessee section of AWWA. He is a member of the Vestry of St. John’s Episcopal Church and is active in several philanthropic organizations in the Montgomery area. He received his undergraduate degree in history from Hampden-Sydney College and holds professional membership in the Association of Energy Engineers.
