Jason Wells specializes in the valuation of closely held operating companies in Jackson Thornton’s Valuation and Litigation consulting group. He also serves as Consulting line of business leader for the firm.
This group offers business valuation services along with litigation support for professional firms and courts throughout the Southeast. Wells also guides the group in large data cases where his technical expertise positions them to take on some of the largest cases in the country.
In addition to being a CPA, Wells is committed to his area of practice through continuing education. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst and holds the ABV (Accredited Business Valuation) certification as well as an MAFF (Master Analyst in Financial Forensics) certification.
Wells is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and received his Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is current president of Paseo Alabama. Wells is a past president of the Montgomery Lions Club and former treasurer for Christchurch Anglican.
Wells holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Montgomery Estate Planning Council.
