Jackson Thornton Names New Principal

Jackson Thornton, a certified public accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that J. Robert Hines has been selected as the firm’s newest principal. Robert Hines serves as a principal in the firm’s Montgomery office, where he has worked for more than 16 years. A Certified Public Accountant, he specializes in accounting, tax and consulting services for closely-held businesses. Hines has particular concentrations in the industrial sector, working with manufacturing and wholesale distribution companies. He is a graduate of Troy University where he obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting. Hines holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery. Founded in 1919, Jackson Thornton is a certified public accounting and consulting firm with approximately 200 professionals and associates in five offices located in Alabama and Tennessee. In addition to accounting services, the firm offers wealth management, strategic planning, business consulting services, technology consulting, and specialized industry services.
