Ashley Taylor Named Outstanding Alumnus

Jackson Thornton, a certified public accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Ashley S. Taylor was recently named the 2017 Outstanding Young Alumnus by the Auburn University Montgomery College of Business. The award was established to honor successful Auburn Montgomery alumni for their professional growth, service and achievements.

Taylor, a CPA and senior manager in the firm’s Montgomery office, received the award at the College’s annual Honors Day ceremony on campus. Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2007 and her MBA from AUM’s College of Business in 2010. She has earned the designations of Certified Valuation Analyst, Accredited in Business Valuation, and Certified in Financial Forensics. Taylor primarily specializes in litigation services related to commercial fraud, lost profits, and loss of business value. She is a graduate of the Torchbearers Leadership Class IV and was voted Young Professional of the Year in 2015 by Emerge Montgomery. Taylor currently serves on the Emerge Montgomery Board of Directors as Past-President, the Montgomery Chamber’s Women in Business Task Force, and the Mayoral Young Professional Council. She is also an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery where she served as a board member in 2015 and 2016.
