
Mark Baker serves as the Principal of the Healthcare group at Jackson Thornton, where he has worked since graduating with a Masters of Accountancy degree from the University of Alabama in 1997. Baker's practice focuses on providing audit, tax and consulting services to long-term care facilities, physician practices and other healthcare operations. Baker also provides tax and consulting services to closely-held businesses.
Baker is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), on which he serves as a member of the Board of Directors; and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Baker also serves as Treasurer of the Brantwood's Children's Home and the Budget and Allocations Committee of the United Way.

Rod Ballard is a principal in Jackson Thornton's Utilities Group, where he specializes in telecommunications regulatory issues. Ballard has been with the Firm since 1994, and provides consulting services such as financial forecasting, diversification studies and budgeting to telecommunications clients throughout the Southeast.
Ballard also travels across the country, teaching and conducting seminars on leadership, accounting and regulatory issues for Continuum Education + Training, a Jackson Thornton company.
Ballard is a member of Frazer United Methodist Church, and is involved in a number of professional organizations. He is a graduate of Troy University, which named him its "Young Accounting Alumnus of the Year" in 2004.

Raised in Dothan, Alabama, Tommy Bedsole was pleased to be one of the initial employees staffing the Dothan office when Jackson Thornton opened its doors in Dothan more than twenty-five years ago.
In addition to working with individuals and closely held small businesses, Bedsole specializes in tax planning and consulting for the construction and agriculture industries. He is a member of the Associated General Contractors and former President of the Associate Members.
Bedsole serves clients throughout the Wiregrass area along with clients in neighboring states. He is a licensed CPA in Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
Bedsole is a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, and he has been active in area youth sports through the Dothan National League. He held the office of treasurer for these organizations for many years.

Bollinger has over twenty-five years of experience with not for profit organizations, governmental entities and closely held businesses.
Bollinger has served on the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy and on the Governmental Accounting Auditing Forum Committee. She is a graduate of Huntingdon College.

Suzanne Davis has been a principal in the Dothan office since 1995. A native of the Wiregrass area and a 1984 graduate of Auburn University, Davis started her career with a national accounting firm, Ernst & Young, in West Palm Beach, Florida before returning to the Wiregrass area in 1987 and joining Jackson Thornton. With over twenty years of experience, Davis has worked with a variety of individuals and closely-held businesses providing accounting, tax, auditing and consulting services.
Davis has served for many years as Treasurer and a board member for Dothan Landmarks Foundation. She is a member of the Dothan Rotary Club and currently serves as a chairperson for the Foster Children's Program. Dennis Fain is the managing Principal of Jackson Thornton's Wetumpka office. Born and raised in Wetumpka, Fain opened the office in 1987 to serve his community. Fain's focus is tax planning and consulting services for small businesses. His work with area residents and their families led him to develop a series of strategies to assist families in planning for their children's college educations.
Fain is actively involved in civic and community activities in the Wetumpka area. He serves as a board member for the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce and the Elmore County Healthcare Authority, and is a former board member of the Elmore County Community Foundation. He is also a member of the Wetumpka First United Methodist Church.

John Fendley brings over 27 years of experience to his practice in Prattville. In May 2006, Mitchell began serving as an investment advisor representative with Jackson Thornton Asset Management, LLC (JTAM), passing the NASD Series 65 examination in June. He is accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants with Personal Financial Specialist certification.

Ned Sheffield is Jackson Thornton's managing partner. He is responsible for guiding the Firm's strategic direction as well as overall administration and financial management of the Firm. He also serves as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of Jackson Thornton.
Prior to being elected Jackson Thornton's managing partner, he was the practice leader of the Firm's Construction Group. He is active in many of the State and local construction trade associations including Associated General Contractors, Alabama Road Builders Association, Associated Builders and Contractors and the American Subcontractors Association. He currently serves on the AGC National Tax and Fiscal Affairs Committee. He holds public accounting licenses in Alabama and Florida. Sheffield graduated with honors from Auburn University.
He is a past President of the Montgomery Auburn Club and the Association of General Contractors. Sheffield is a Rotarian and a member of the Board of Stewards of Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church.
